On December 1, the Co.opMart Vung Tau Trade Union (Tam Thang Ward) said that the collective of union members and workers of the unit participated in the voluntary blood donation program organized by the People's Committee of Tam Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Thereby contributing blood drops to save lives, bringing life and hope to patients in need of blood. At the same time, spread the spirit of "a drop of blood given - a life left behind". In particular, not only employees but also business leaders participate in blood donation, adding spirit and motivation to union members and workers to act together for the community.
The Tam Thang Ward Labor Union (HCMC) said that the voluntary blood donation program organized by the Ward People's Committee has received active response and support from the collective of workers and people in the area. Many grassroots trade unions in the area have mobilized union members and workers to participate.
In total, nearly 700 workers in the area have come to the blood donation reception point to participate and respond to the program. Thereby collecting 510 units of blood to contribute to the treatment of patients in need of blood.
