This Mid-Autumn Festival, thousands of children who are union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Da Nang city will receive care and attention from the Trade Union organization.

According to the plan, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will present 8,000 gifts to children aged 5 to 15 who are children of union members and workers working at agencies, units, and enterprises with trade union organizations directly under the City Labor Federation.
Priority are given to children in difficult circumstances, children with disabilities, children with dangerous diseases, orphans, children whose parents have had labor accidents, and those who need to be shared and supported.
Each gift is worth 300,000 VND, including 100,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND. The total cost of care is 2.4 billion VND.
The gifts are distributed to commune and ward trade unions, grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation to be given to the children.
In addition to giving gifts, the City Labor Federation organized two "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" programs, each point with about 300 children participating.
The first program will be held at 6 pm on September 22 at the City Labor Culture House, Hoa Cuong ward. The second program will take place at 6 pm on September 24 at the City Culture - Cinema Center, Ban Thach ward.
At the festival nights, children will watch art performances, magic, lion dances, break the feast together and receive Mid-Autumn gifts.
Not only organizing focused activities, the City Labor Federation also requires commune, ward, and grassroots trade unions to proactively combine the allocated gifts with the unit's resources to organize appropriate care activities.
Mr. Le Van Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - said that caring for children of union members and workers is one of the activities that the Trade Union organization has maintained for many years.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, more attention should be paid to families who are still in difficulty so that children of workers and laborers are not disadvantaged compared to their peers.
Joining hands to help children have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival
Another notable activity during this occasion is the "Full Moon Night Festival to Joyfully Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival 2026" program organized by the City Labor Federation in coordination with the Department of Health and Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee.
The program is scheduled to take place on September 23, at Hoa Khanh Ward Administrative Center Square, with the participation of children of workers working at Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu Industrial Park, High-Tech Park and children in particularly difficult and difficult circumstances in Hoa Khanh ward.
At the program, 300 Mid-Autumn gifts, worth 300,000 VND each, will be given to the children. In which, the Da Nang City Charity and Children's Rights Protection Association supports 50 gifts; the City Labor Federation supports 250 gifts from the source of 8,000 Mid-Autumn gifts this year.
In particular, the program also awarded 30 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to children in difficult circumstances but with achievements in overcoming difficulties and striving in their studies.
From 8,000 gifts, Mid-Autumn Festival nights to scholarships for disadvantaged children, this year's Mid-Autumn care activities show that support is being directed more and more specifically to each target group.
And when care is carried out regularly, to the right people, in the right circumstances, Mid-Autumn gifts not only bring joy to children on a full moon night but also contribute to deepening the connection between union members, workers and the Trade Union organization.
