On January 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LDLD) organized a program to award health insurance cards to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, through surveys, it was found that some workers who are doing freelance jobs such as motorbike taxi driving, delivering goods, selling groceries, selling lottery tickets, babysitting... do not have health insurance, and are prone to difficulties when sick. From there, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has mobilized units to join hands to support the donation of 820 health insurance cards to the above subjects.
In which, Vietnam Foreign Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Ho Chi Minh City Branch supported funding to award 720 health insurance cards, with an amount of nearly 910 million VND; Southern Rubber Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA) supported funding to award 100 health insurance cards to union members and workers in An Phu and Binh Hoa wards, with an amount of more than 126.3 million VND.

On behalf of union members and workers who received health insurance cards, Ms. Le Thi Tuyet Hoa - currently a technology motorbike taxi driver - emotionally said that this health insurance card awarding program is very meaningful, showing the practical concern and care of trade union levels in Ho Chi Minh City for union members and workers.
