On the afternoon of January 8, in Ha Long City, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs chaired a conference to summarize the 2024 coordination program and deploy the 2025 coordination program between the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Labor Confederation and the Provincial Social Insurance.
In 2024, the coordination program between the three agencies will be implemented methodically and effectively with clear assignment of tasks and implementation costs.
The agencies have coordinated to issue many policies and organize 9 propaganda conferences for nearly 900 representatives of 300 agencies, units and enterprises on labor policies, social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI), unemployment insurance (UI), gender equality and the Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation.
The units have coordinated to resolve the unemployment insurance regime for about 8,200 workers with a total amount of nearly 190 billion VND, coordinated and synthesized a report to the Provincial People's Council on the results of developing social insurance participants in 2024, and developed a plan to develop social insurance participants in 2025.
Inspect and examine the implementation of labor laws, social insurance and occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) at 10 enterprises. Monitor the implementation of democratic regulations at 60 agencies, units and enterprises. Continue to maintain 5 legal consulting points and receive workers monthly in industrial parks...
The conference agreed on key contents in 2025, including: Participating in amending and supplementing the Law on Employment, guiding documents of the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Trade Unions and regulations on new wage regimes. Supporting enterprises in training and recruiting workers, increasing the rate of workers participating in social insurance. Resolving complaints and labor disputes, minimizing wage arrears and social insurance arrears.
Implementing the Project "Developing labor relations in Quang Ninh province, period 2021-2025". Strengthening care for the lives of workers, civil servants and laborers.
The three agencies agreed to direct their subordinate departments and divisions to implement coordination contents, regularly exchange information and promptly resolve arising issues. Every 6 months and every year, the parties will evaluate the results and propose appropriate solutions for the next period.
