Mr. Dang Ngoc Anh - Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) informed that at the recent 5th (expanded) Executive Committee meeting, Phu Yen approved the key tasks to be implemented in 2025.
Accordingly, the propaganda work was identified by the Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor as a priority task for the Resolution of the 11th Congress of Phu Yen Trade Union and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union to be put into practice. The Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to develop and promulgate action programs, programs, projects, and plans to implement 16 groups of targets, 3 breakthroughs of the congress resolution.
2025 is also the year the Trade Union Law (amended) was passed by the National Assembly to take effect, the Provincial Federation of Labor directs all levels to actively research, propose and participate in developing policies and laws related to the rights of employees. Closely follow the content of the Law on Employment (amended), documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Trade Unions (amended), the Law on Social Insurance (amended) to promptly inform union members and employees about new points, ensuring the rights of union members.
During the year, the Phu Yen Provincial Federation of Labor will organize and launch emulation movements for production labor, achieving achievements to celebrate major holidays among union members and workers. At the same time, many solutions have been developed to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees in the issue of unpaid wages and social insurance debts of union members and employees.
Along with proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining, in the period of 2024 - 2028, the Trade Unions at all levels will also proactively implement solutions to facilitate the Trade Union to conduct negotiations and collective bargaining with employers. The focus of negotiations is the issue of wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, and occupational safety and hygiene. Increase welfare and attract and gather employees into the Trade Union organization.
The task of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions (CDCS) in 2025 is very heavy. Therefore, since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has proposed plans and developed specific targets to innovate the method of admitting union members, associated with improving the quality of union members.
With developing union members, it is necessary to consolidate and improve the quality of union officials, especially the chairman of the non-state enterprise union.
Taking care of practical benefits for union members and employees, for the Lunar New Year - 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have focused on supporting Tet gifts directly given to union members, with a total budget of more than 13 billion VND for thousands of union members in difficult circumstances. In 2025, the Federation of Labor will continue to set the goal of developing the Provincial Federation of Labor Social Fund, the Trade Union Capital Support Fund, the National Employment Fund, the " savings day for poor women" fund to promptly support union members and workers when facing difficulties...
