The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) has just held a conference to announce the decision to establish a grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Sportline Apparel Vietnam Company Limited, admitting 502 employees of the company to the Vietnam Trade Union in Xuan To Industrial Park - Tinh Bien Ward.
According to the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, this event aims to implement the key work program of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee and implement the targets of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in 2025.
The event not only has the meaning of propaganda, dissemination, and strong impact on units and enterprises that do not have a Trade Union organization, but also creates attraction for workers to participate in the Trade Union organization. Thereby, enhancing the position and role in performing the tasks and functions of the Trade Union organization.
Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh said: The Provincial Federation of Labor highly appreciates the active coordination of the Company's Board of Directors in creating favorable conditions for the establishment of grassroots trade unions.
Mr. Thinh suggested that the Trade Union of Sportline Apparel Vietnam Co., Ltd. promote its role and function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees; proactively coordinate closely with the company's leaders to effectively organize emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises. Thereby, contributing to improving the lives of workers, building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization and accompanying the sustainable development of enterprises.
"After the merger, this is a very meaningful event. We will review and try to increase the number of grassroots unions and workers participating, expand the organization and take a deeper look at the care. This is a long-term important task, with a breakthrough in the last 6 months of 2025, Mr. Thinh emphasized.
Mr. Jeffrey Zhang - Company Administrative Director - said that he was very excited and happy to see the company's brothers and sisters officially join the Vietnam Trade Union and especially voluntarily establish a grassroots trade union at the company. This is the basis, an important premise for the Trade Union to perform its functions and tasks of representing, protecting, and caring for union members and workers.
I promise to create all favorable conditions to help the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union operate more and more and develop with the General Board of the Company. Each of us considers the company as our second home, so we should be enthusiastic and enthusiastic in working to increase productivity, then the company will grow strongly, constantly develop, and everyone's income will increase," Mr. Jeffrey Zhang shared.
Mr. Jeffrey Zhang also suggested that the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union be united, united and each person must fully promote their sense of responsibility. In activities, we must always innovate, be creative, improve, and initiatives many solutions to bring many practical values and benefits to union members and workers, truly being the representative of workers at the Company.
"Seeing the benefits of participating in the Trade Union organization, I believe that it will attract a large number of workers to support and actively respond to emulation movements and activities initiated by the Trade Union, especially for the remaining workers who have not participated in the Trade Union organization," Mr. Jeffrey Zhang added.
Currently, the rate of workers participating in the Trade Union is nearly 74% of the total number of employees of the company. Mr. Jeffrey Zhang hopes that by the end of the year, 100% of workers will be voluntarily participated in the Trade Union organization.
