On April 23, the Provincial People's Committee and the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneering to enter a new era" and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
In the month of workers 2025, the Trade Union of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province planned to organize a series of significant activities such as: "Creative worker, firmly confidently enter the new era"; The program "Dialogue in May"; The forum "Party with workers - workers with the Party" and the program "Thank you for workers".
During this time, trade unions at all levels also organize the " Peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions"; review and introduce outstanding union members for the Party Committee to train, consider and admit; implement activities to honor outstanding workers; promote propaganda activities...
The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee also requested units and enterprises across the province to proactively develop, issue plans and strengthen coordination; effectively conduct self-inspection of occupational safety, hygiene, fire prevention and fighting; strengthen solutions and technology applications in assessing and controlling risks of unsafety, occupational hygiene, etc.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Le Van Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - hoped that the activities during the Workers' Month - Month of Action on occupational safety and health will be truly meaningful, bringing practical results to workers. Thereby creating a highlight in trade union activities, promoting the attention and care of Party committees, authorities, sectors, levels, employers and the whole society in caring for union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the presentation of 50 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; rewarded 8 collectives with achievements in occupational safety and health in 2024.
