Sharing on the sidelines of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assessed that the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces must still maintain the goal in the spirit of Resolution 09 of the Politburo on building Khanh Hoa province into a centrally-run city, a growth pole of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan assessed that immediately after completing the merger, localities will immediately start working with the development goal of 2 digits or more.
Regarding the support for Ninh Thuan cadres to Khanh Hoa to work in the first phase of the merger, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan said that in the immediate future, the locality must review and re-inspect all working facilities and policies for Ninh Thuan cadres to work in Nha Trang.
Currently, Khanh Hoa province is building a new working headquarters. In the immediate future, the locality will use the headquarters of the wards in Nha Trang to arrange workplaces for departments and branches after the merger. Regarding this, Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan said that the locality has a number of options for selecting numbers or naming by place names, regions... Naming by place names of wards and communes will be consulted by voters and approved by the Resolution of the People's Council at the district level.
Up to now, Khanh Hoa has compiled on the basis of 40 communes, wards and special zones. All have traditional names, associated with the thoughts and feelings of the people.
