On August 11, 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that the Provincial Labor Federation had organized a conference to summarize 3 men's football teams of workers in Bac Ninh province participating in the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation attended and chaired the Conference.
The Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation has directed the establishment of 3 football teams representing workers in the province to participate in the Northern regional qualifying round, including Bac Ninh Trade Union 1, Bac Ninh Trade Union 2 and Bac Ninh Trade Union 3. The three teams were selected from union members and workers at enterprises in the province.
Right from the preparation process, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation has paid attention to creating conditions for training time, facilities, fields, uniforms, medical equipment, insurance and nutrition for the players.
The coaching staff organizes professional exercises, focusing on physical training, tackling techniques, movement and ball coordination, thereby helping teams have good preparation before entering the tournament.
At the end of the Northern regional qualifying round, 2/3 of Bac Ninh teams excellently passed the qualifying round, winning the right to participate in the National Finals in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the Final Round of the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament, taking place from July 16 to 19, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union and Bac Ninh 3 Trade Union entered the tournament with a spirit of confidence, high determination, showing technical, beautiful play and strictly complying with competition discipline. However, against strong opponents, both teams could not qualify for the 1/8 round and stopped in the group stage.
Although not achieving the expected results in the final round, the fact that 2/3 of the teams passed the Northern regional qualifying round and participated in the national final round is a remarkable achievement, showing the strong development of the sports movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers in Bac Ninh province.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility and efforts of the players, the coaching staff, service staff and units who have accompanied the 3 teams throughout the training and competition process.
The comrade requested that in the coming time, trade union levels in the province continue to pay attention to developing cultural, artistic, and sports movements; create more suitable playgrounds for union members and workers to practice health, exchange, and connect, thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 86 individuals with many achievements participating in the 2026 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
