The working delegation of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation led by Mr. Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and provided support to union member Nguyen Van Chieu - Trade Union of Vinatech Vina Co., Ltd., who is being treated at Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 2.
Implementing the local voluntary blood donation mobilization plan for 2026, on the morning of July 28, 2026, Mr. Chieu participated in voluntary blood donation at the Que Vo Ward Cultural House.
After completing the blood donation and moving down to the stage area, Mr. Chieu showed signs of shock, unfortunately fell, leading to a broken jaw, bleeding profusely and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and surgery.
Union member Nguyen Van Chieu is expected to have to undergo long-term treatment to recover his health. At the visit, Mr. Le Duc Tho cordially inquired about his health situation, encouraged union member Nguyen Van Chieu to rest assured in treatment, recover soon and return to life and work.
At the same time, the working delegation shared the difficulties that union members and their families are facing after an unfortunate incident occurred during the voluntary blood donation activity.
In order to promptly encourage and share difficulties with union members, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation has provided support of 2,000,000 VND to Mr. Nguyen Van Chieu.
