On June 27, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued a decision on the functions and tasks of the Labor Relations Committee.
The Labor Relations Department has the function of advising and assisting the Standing Committee, the Presidium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and directly and regularly the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee (currently the Presidium), the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in implementing the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Charter of Trade Unions and resolutions and regulations of the Party and State related to the field of labor relations, welfare of union members (Union members), workers' security, employment, safety, occupational hygiene and policies and laws related to the rights and interests of union members and workers; organizational and grassroots cadres, propaganda work, education, cultural and spiritual care for the lives of workers and women's union members; strong work in building a strong union of workers and workers.
The Labor Relations Department advises on the work of the Standing Committee, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and directly and regularly the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the following tasks:
Labor relations and union member welfare; dialogue, negotiation, and collective labor agreements, wages; caring for union member welfare; security work among workers, maintaining relationships with workers' organizations at enterprises, resolving labor disputes; handling complaints and denunciations of trade unions; job creation and occupational safety and hygiene; law and policies related to trade union organizations, rights and interests of union members and workers; organization and grassroots cadres; propaganda and education; women's work, caring for the cultural and spiritual life of union members and workers; building a modern and strong working class; performing other tasks assigned by the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...
