At the end of March 2025, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor organized working groups to visit, encourage and give gifts to workers at enterprises with a large number of workers. A total of 120 gifts were given to workers at enterprises. The Provincial Federation of Labor has organized 3 working groups directly led by key leaders.
The first delegation, led by Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, visited enterprises in the Southeast Economic Zone. Here, the Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor directly presented gifts and sent words of encouragement to workers, encouraged them to overcome difficulties and contribute to the development of businesses and localities. The second delegation, led by Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, visited enterprises under the Dien Chau District Federation of Labor. In addition to giving gifts, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor directly discussed with representatives of enterprises about ensuring labor safety, working conditions and policies to care for workers. At the same time, the trade union also listens to the feedback and concerns of workers to promptly propose support solutions.
According to the leader of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, there have been a number of cases of workers collectively stopping work in the province to demand their rights, all of which have been resolved quickly and effectively thanks to the active participation of the Trade Union. Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor Kha Van Tam said: "The success of the Trade Union in the above cases comes from being close, approachable, regularly grasping the circumstances, thoughts and aspirations of workers, becoming a bridge between business owners and workers, being trusted by workers, and being assigned the responsibility of representing them".
In Thanh Hoa, in early 2025, there were 10 collective work stoppages in the province, mainly in FDI enterprises.
As soon as the incident occurred, trade unions at all levels in the province, especially working groups of the Provincial Federation of Labor, coordinated with the authorities of districts and related units to quickly take action. The trade union promptly exchanged and grasped the thoughts and aspirations of employees, then worked frankly and responsibly with the leaders of companies on the basis of the law to ensure legitimate rights for employees as well as stabilize production. Thanks to that, the work stoppages quickly ended, workers returned to work, and the company's production activities returned to normal.
