Accordingly, the Vinh Phuc Project Management Board's grassroots Trade Union was established on the basis of merging three trade unions: the Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board; the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; the Vinh Phuc Agricultural and Rural Development Project Management Board.
After the merger, the unit has 193 union members, of which women account for nearly 25%.
The team of union members has high professional qualifications with 65 masters and 117 universities. Cadres, civil servants and workers have a stable ideology, comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws and agency regulations; actively compete to complete professional tasks.
Working conditions and income of workers are stable; 100% of union members are fully covered by social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
The grassroots trade union has regularly cared about union members' lives through visiting activities and timely support in case of illness or disaster; at the same time, coordinating with unions to create a united and close environment, enhancing the sense of responsibility and cultural life in the agency.
At the congress, delegates discussed and evaluated the results of the activities of the past term; frankly pointed out the limitations and proposed directions to improve the quality of trade union activities in the coming time.
The Congress determined that the goal for the 2025-2030 term is to continue to innovate the organization and operation of trade unions in a practical and effective manner; increase care and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; develop the interests of union members; build harmonious and stable labor relations.
At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the grassroots Trade Union of the Vinh Phuc Project Management Board for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Deputy Director of the Vinh Phuc Project Management Board was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the new grassroots Trade Union.
