The Government issued Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts.
Accordingly, officially increase the regional minimum wage by 7.2%, corresponding to an increase of 250,000 - 350,000 VND from January 1, 2026 compared to Decree 74/2024/ND-CP.
The area where the minimum wage scale of Nghe An region is applied is issued in the Appendix attached to Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulating the list of areas applying the minimum wage from 2026.


The minimum monthly salary is the lowest salary as a basis for agreement and salary payment for employees applying the form of monthly salary payment, ensuring that the salary level according to the job or title of the employee working full working hours normally in the month and completing the agreed labor norm or job is not lower than the minimum monthly salary.
The hourly minimum wage is the lowest wage as a basis for agreement and payment for employees applying the hourly wage form, ensuring that the wage according to the job or title of the employee working for one hour and completing the labor norm or agreed work is not lower than the hourly minimum wage.
