On January 4, at MDF-VRG Quang Tri Wood Joint Stock Company (Quan Ngang Industrial Park, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province), a gift-giving program took place for union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances.
At the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and shared the difficulties in life of union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.
From the budget of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung personally handed over 100 Tet gifts (1 gift worth 1.3 million VND) to 100 union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province.
Receiving the gift from Minister Nguyen Van Hung, Ms. Hoang Thi Giang (Huong Hoang Joint Stock Company) said she was very touched.
Ms. Giang's family is in a difficult situation, with her husband not having a stable job and her parents being old and weak. With the gift of 1 million VND in cash, gifts worth 300,000 VND and the upcoming Tet bonus, her family will have a warmer Tet.
Mr. Nguyen The Lap - Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor will support more than 3,000 union members and workers in difficulty with a total amount of more than 1.5 billion VND.
