With the consent of the Hiep Hoa Commune Trade Union, Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Company organized a program for over 7,500 union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation attended the program.
Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Company is a company operating in the export garment sector, and was recognized as one of the 281 prestigious export enterprises in 2021 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The company currently has more than 7,600 workers, with an average income of about 12 million VND/person/month. Over the years, the company has always maintained a sustainable cooperative relationship with domestic and foreign partners, constantly developing production, meeting international standards. The company's products are currently available in many major markets such as the US, European countries and many other countries.
Every year, the company coordinates with the Trade Union to organize well the workers' conference, sign collective labor agreements and fully implement policies related to labor safety, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for workers. In addition, propaganda and ideological and political education work is focused on; patriotic emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" are effectively implemented.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that "Union Meal" is a practical activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, creating opportunities for exchanges and connection between workers and the Trade Union organization and business leaders.
The program contributes to building trust, developing union members, while taking care of their material and spiritual lives and aiming for welfare programs for union members and workers. The program is also part of a series of actions to effectively implement Resolution 7c/NQ-BCH dated February 25, 2016 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Quality of shift meals for workers".
At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 15 gifts, worth a total of 15 million VND to workers in difficult circumstances. The company's union also presented 20 gifts to children of union members in difficult circumstances who have achieved excellent academic results.
In the coming time, the Company's Trade Union will continue to coordinate with the enterprise to organize many practical and meaningful activities, contributing to improving the spiritual life of employees, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; thereby building a close and long-term relationship between employees and the Trade Union organization and the enterprise.
