Trade Union meals are implemented by Vinh Long Trade Union levels with many forms suitable to reality, from improving the quality of meals, supplementing nutrition to exchanges, meetings, creating a close atmosphere at the workplace.

More connection between Trade Unions and workers
Ms. Tran Loan Thao - Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Viet Hong Export Garment Co., Ltd. said that the Trade Union coordinates with the company to organize the Trade Union Meal to care for the lives of workers, and at the same time create an opportunity for all parties to get closer and share.
With 1,481 meals worth 80,000 VND/meal, the program contributes to improving the quality of meals and creating joy for workers. This is also an opportunity for the Trade Union and businesses to show their companionship, thereby increasing the trust of workers.
From the positive effects of the program, the Board of Directors of Viet Hong Export Garment Co., Ltd. will continue to coordinate with the Trade Union to implement more practical activities to care for the lives of workers, suitable for the needs of workers.
According to the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, in July and August 2026, the whole province has 51 grassroots trade unions organizing Trade Union Meals, deploying with many forms suitable to actual conditions at agencies, units, and businesses.
The total implementation cost is more than 2 billion VND, of which the Trade Union supported more than 1.21 billion VND, and businesses supported more than 820 million VND. On average, each meal costs about 49,000 VND, and some units supplemented with fruits, milk, and drinking water.
According to the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, Trade Union Meals not only improve the quality of meals but also create opportunities for Trade Unions, businesses and workers to meet, listen, share, and understand each other better.
In the coming time, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation will continue to mobilize businesses to care for workers, pay attention to nutrition, food safety, working conditions; and diversify activities associated with dialogue, culture, sports and visits.
