On the evening of January 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward coordinated with the ward Trade Union to organize the program "Reunion meal - Tet of gratitude" at a boarding house on DX 013 street, Binh Duong ward.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward, Mr. Pham Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Binh Duong ward.
According to Mr. Pham Tuan Tu, this year the lives and jobs of workers in the area are relatively stable. During Tet, businesses and grassroots trade unions in the ward manage to care for workers about 12 billion VND. In addition, organize the donation of bus tickets and train tickets for workers to return home for Tet.

In addition, to take care of workers, the Binh Duong Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward to organize the program "Reunion meal - Tet of gratitude" in 5 boarding houses with 59 beneficiary rooms. In addition to organizing the reunion meal, the union presented 59 gifts worth 30 million VND to workers in difficult circumstances.
This Tet holiday, the Ward Trade Union also coordinated with the CEP Fund to give 38 gifts worth 25 million VND to workers who did not return to their hometowns for Tet.
Reunion meal - Tet of gratitude" is both a year-end meal and a thank you to the workers and employees who chose Binh Duong ward as their place of residence and career. The program is also one of the activities to contribute to the goal of leaving no one in difficulty behind in the ward" - Mr. Pham Tuan Tu shared.

Mr. Thai Van Chung - Landlord said that in recent years, the lives of workers far from home living in rented houses have faced many difficulties. "In the days leading up to Tet, homesickness and missing loved ones are even greater. Therefore, the program "Reunion Meal - Tet of Gratitude" is a meaningful activity. Through the program, helping workers gather and reunite together so that workers feel more connected to the rented house and the locality" - Mr. Thai Van Chung shared.
According to records, the program "Reunion meal - Tet of Gratitude" is organized with 6 trays of rice with about 60 workers participating. The rice tray has many delicious dishes such as salad rolls, chicken, braised food, hotpot, and fruits.

The meal brought a warm, gathering space. Workers and landlords shared the joy of a year-end family meal.
We are far from home, far from family to Ho Chi Minh City to start a business. Currently, living in rented rooms is still lacking and difficult.
