On January 28, representatives of the leadership of To Hien Thanh High School (Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province) said that the school had established an inspection team to verify reflections related to female teacher Doan Thi Hang (Literature teacher at the school) arbitrarily correcting 126 scores of many classes when entering scores into the VNEDU management system.

According to a representative of To Hien Thanh High School, there is a deviation in scores between the announced results and the scores entered on the VNEDU electronic system. Explaining this deviation, teacher Doan Thi Hang said that the cause was computer and network transmission intermittency during data entry.
After the incident occurred, the school is conducting inspections, reviews, and clarifying the causes and responsibilities of individuals related to the change in student scores.
Previously, according to reflections, at the mid-term and final semester exams of the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year, teacher Doan Thi Hang arbitrarily corrected 126 scores of students in classes 11C4, 11C9 and 12B3 when entering scores into the VNEDU system.
The revised scores are mainly in the direction of increasing from 1-3 points compared to the actual test and the results were initially announced by the school. Even, in some cases, students from 5-6 points are increased to 8 points, from 7 points increased to 8 points. Besides, there are also some students who have their scores lowered.
Notably, according to the initial inspection results, errors were not only related to teacher Doan Thi Hang. To Hien Thanh High School also discovered incorrect score entry in many other subjects. Specifically, in class B2, the mid-semester exam had 17 points in English and 11 points in Physics that were incorrect; the final semester exam had 12 points in English and 30 points in Physics that were incorrect. Class B3, Physics had a total of 36 points that were incorrect in both exams. In addition, some 10 points were also adjusted down in class B2 in Physics and English.
Previously, in the first semester, To Hien Thanh High School organized two centralized tests (mid-term and final semesters) to evaluate and classify students with four exam subjects. After having the results, the scores were publicly listed, then teachers imported scores into the VNEDU system according to regulations. However, errors such as the above occurred during the score entry process.
