At noon on February 7, at Sa Dec Industrial Park, Sa Dec ward, Dong Thap province, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union in coordination with the Board of General Directors of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company organized the program "Trade Union Year-end Meal" on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

This is an activity to strengthen the relationship between union members and workers with the trade union organization, while building trust and attachment with the trade union organization and businesses.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap; Mr. Ong Hang Van - Deputy General Director of the Company; Ms. Phung Thi Ly Ngoc - Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company and more than 2,200 union members, workers, and laborers attending.

At the end of the year, amidst the bustling production in factories and the preparation for the traditional Tet of the nation, "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal" becomes a special event for many union members, workers, and laborers at Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company. Because it is not only a meal that is improved in quality and nutrition, it is also a space to share, a place where business leaders, trade union organizations and laborers connect with care and understanding.

Instead of the familiar shift meal (worth 28,000 VND/meal), more than 2,200 workers enjoyed "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal" with a menu full of Tet flavor such as: braised pork with eggs, pork rib and potato soup, stir-fried beef with pickled onions, pickled mustard greens, with fruits, soft drinks and dessert yogurt. Each meal is worth 118,000 VND, an increase of 9,000 VND compared to normal days thanks to the joint efforts of the General Director Board and the grassroots Trade Union.

Sitting with colleagues at the year-end meal, Ms. Huynh Thi My Tien confided: "Working hard all year, having a better year-end meal, and having company and trade union leaders attend and encourage us, we feel respected, the atmosphere is as cozy as a family meal.
According to Ms. Phung Thi Ly Ngoc - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company, immediately after consulting and exchanging, the company's leaders immediately agreed and authorized the grassroots Trade Union to manage the collective kitchen, regularly supervise the quality and food safety and hygiene.

This Tet holiday, in addition to organizing this meaningful activity, business leaders also allocated a large source of funds to pay the 13th month salary bonus to encourage workers, with an average value of 10.6 million VND/person. At the same time, 665 individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor. The grassroots trade union also proposed and was allocated by the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation to give 152 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances (worth 500 thousand VND/gift).
