Initial information, the fire occurred at about 10:40 am on February 7 in the La Casta Van Phu adjacent villa area (Kien Hung ward, Hanoi).
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Tien (witness at the scene) said that the fire originated from a coffee shop on the 1st floor, then spread to a beer shop next door.
Security forces in the area quickly pulled fire hoses to put out the fire but could not control the fire.
Mr. Tien said that by nearly 11 am, many fire trucks and dozens of firefighters and officers had arrived at the scene to perform firefighting and rescue duties.
The fire was quickly controlled by functional forces.
Initial determination shows no casualties. Property damage caused by the fire is being statistically determined.
The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
