Trade unions at all levels in Quang Ngai are making efforts to organize many programs to give Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

From 3:00 p.m. on January 10 to 11:00 a.m. on January 12, the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Zones Trade Union organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and Tet care activities at the Cultural - Sports Center for workers.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Zones Trade Union - said that many workers have come to buy goods at preferential prices. The unit will present 3,000 gifts, worth over 1.9 billion VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The 2025 “Union Tet Market” program has two partners, Co.opmart Quang Ngai Supermarket and Union Inc Joint Stock Company, which will provide essential goods and consumer goods packages at preferential prices, suitable for the needs and income of union members and workers for daily use.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan - Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation, the subjects who will be taken care of during the Lunar New Year 2025 are all union members, workers and civil servants, with priority given to those in particularly difficult circumstances, having work accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses...

For the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, organize the online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025", with 200,000 union members and employees receiving benefits through electronic vouchers (VND 500,000/voucher), of which Quang Ngai province has 2,570 gifts. The provincial Labor Confederation will organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" and "Trade Union Tet Market", scheduled from January 14-15, at the Provincial Labor Culture House. The program will present 1,200 gifts to union members and employees with a total value of over VND 1.3 billion and support the construction of new Trade Union Shelters for 35 union members, with a total amount of over VND 1.7 billion.

This year, the Provincial Labor Federation continues to organize welfare booths (discounts, discounts and “0 VND”) with essential goods, participated by units and enterprises in the province. Union members and employees in difficult circumstances are given “0 VND” vouchers (worth 500,000 VND/voucher) to choose and receive products directly at the Union Tet market according to their needs.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Nhan said that the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed all levels of trade unions in the province to proactively participate with functional agencies to grasp the situation of labor relations; inspect and supervise the implementation of salary and bonus payments to employees during Tet; promptly detect and have solutions to ensure the rights of union members and employees in enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid wages, unable to pay bonuses, enterprises temporarily suspending operations, dissolving, and going bankrupt.
