Faced with the serious damage caused by storms and floods in Thai Nguyen province, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) coordinated with relevant units to organize the "Love trip" program, transporting dozens of tons of necessities to support people in affected areas.

This activity was implemented to respond to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the direction of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City on supporting people facing difficulties due to natural disasters.
On October 14, the "Can Tho City Love Bus" carrying about 20 tons of goods departed for Thai Nguyen province to support people affected by storms and floods.

According to the Can Tho City Labor Federation, the total amount of goods supported is up to about 20 tons, with a value of more than 727 million VND. The necessities include: 1,737 boxes of packaged noodles, 2,549 kg of rice, 494 boxes of milk, 70 boxes of mineral water, 82 boxes of sausages, 34 boxes of sardines, 205 boxes of fresh bread and various medicines, essential oils and medical supplies.

All goods have been carefully classified, packaged and transported from Can Tho City to Thai Nguyen Province by specialized trucks, in order to promptly support people in localities that are heavily affected by floods.
Previously, prolonged heavy rains caused flooding and caused serious damage to the lives and production of Thai Nguyen people. Hundreds of households are isolated, lacking food, clean water and essential necessities.

The timely support from Can Tho City is a practical action, contributing to sharing difficulties, adding motivation for people in flooded areas to overcome the difficult period and soon stabilize their lives.
