Honored to receive the 2025 Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), the grassroots Trade Union (GS) of Cong Tien Garment Joint Stock Company - said that it continues to affirm its position as a typical unit in the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers in Dong Thap province.
Performing well the role
Identifying the core function as representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union always proactively coordinates with the Board of Directors to organize Workers' Conferences and periodic dialogues in accordance with regulations. In 2025, the grassroots trade union conducted 04 direct dialogues at the workplace with the participation of more than 450 people, promptly removing arising problems.
Through collective bargaining, the grassroots trade union has ensured that 100% of eligible workers are signed labor contracts and fully participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes.
In particular, breakthrough welfare policies have been maintained and improved: The total budget for salary bonuses for the 13th month and the titles "Grassroots Emulation Soldier", "Good Laborer" reached over 11.8 billion VND; spending over 1.4 billion VND for the April 30, September 2 and New Year holidays; giving Tet gifts for At Ty to 1,395 workers with a budget of 418.5 million VND...
The combination of the traditional "Comment Box" and the QR code feedback receiving system has helped the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union grasp the thoughts from the production team level, supporting unsecured loan guarantees for 161 turns of union members with a total amount of 3.6 billion VND.
The highlight is the "Multi-platform digital communication ecosystem" model with a Fanpage attracting nearly 7,000 followers that has become a key information channel, posting more than 200 official news bulletins each year.
The initiative to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the "Workshop Radio" model with more than 300 professionally edited news bulletins has helped union members access legal policies in a natural way.
The implementation of the "Music Gifts" program via QR Code has attracted more than 1,000 registrations, creating a strong spiritual bond, reducing work pressure for workers right at the sewing line.

In recent years, the emulation movement "Good Labor, Creative Labor" has brought practical efficiency, truly going deeper, becoming a driving force to increase productivity. In the year, 58 technical innovation initiatives were received and applied, benefiting businesses hundreds of millions of VND.
Recognizing these contributions, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Creative Labor Certificate to 04 outstanding individuals; many individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the "July 28th Award".
This contributes to bringing the average income of workers to 9.1 million VND/person/month - an impressive figure in the context that the textile and garment industry still faces many challenges.
Occupational safety and hygiene work is also focused on with protective equipment costs up to 515 million VND and organizing periodic health check-ups for more than 1,150 people.
Especially with the specific characteristic of the proportion of female workers accounting for the majority, Women's work is always prioritized. The movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" has had 710 female union members achieve titles (91% rate). The Company's grassroots trade union has established "Mother's milk storage room" serving more than 150 union members and launched the "Pregnant women and raising young children club" with 100 members. Activities such as giving gifts on June 1st, Mid-Autumn Festival and rewarding excellent students for union members' children are carried out thoughtfully with a total budget of hundreds of millions of VND.
During the year, the grassroots trade union mobilized contributions of more than 32 million VND to support workers with critical illnesses, handed over 01 Trade Union Shelter worth 50 million VND (from the support of the Enterprise's Board of Directors) and actively mobilized support for social and charity funds with tens of millions of VND.
With comprehensive outstanding achievements, the Trade Union of Cong Tien Garment Joint Stock Company is considered a typical example of the role of the Trade Union organization in the digital age associated with the motto "Creative - Practical - Humane".
