The Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC) coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training's Committee for Women's Advancement to organize a training conference on women's work, women's advancement and gender equality for universities, colleges, pedagogical colleges and units in the emulation bloc.
According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union, in 2024, the Trade Union will organize key activities such as exhibition of scientific products and technology transfer of female staff and lecturers of higher education institutions from March 6 to March 3-3, 2024 and organize meetings and seminars on scientific research among female staff and lecturers of universities, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of International Women's Day and the year of the Hai Ba Trung uprising in 1984; support university lecturers to post scientific research articles in the Journal of Science - Hanoi National University, currently have 17 posts and in the process of criticism.

The Women's Union at all levels focuses on training, improving qualifications, capacity and operational skills; legal knowledge and consulting skills for women's union officials; organizing professional skills training courses, topics on gender, population, family planning... for female workers, and at the same time fully participating in training courses on women's work organized by superiors.
Encourage and mobilize female employees to study to improve their professional qualifications, political theory, support female employees to apply information technology, digital transformation in management, teaching and work; train a team of young female lecturers, proactively grasp the situation and have timely support solutions for female employees when facing difficulties.
In addition, trade unions at all levels proactively grasp the practical situation, review, propose support mechanisms, and implement the work of caring for the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin - 2024 for employees to practice effectively. Promote internal resources and support from organizations and individuals to organize periodic health check-ups for female employees; organize tours, vacations, experience exchanges, talk activities, and thematic activities; regularly visit and support female employees in difficult circumstances and those with serious illnesses.
According to Ms. Le Thi Mai Oanh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Education, at the Conference, delegates will be trained in 3 topics: Guidance on the process of establishing, organizing, and operational skills of the Mass Women's Union. Implement the emulation movement "Good at public work, Good at housework" and reward work; Decoding the secret: Increasing women's participation in the STEM field; Vietnamese women in the period of breakthrough, development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation: Challenges, barriers, solutions and recommendations.
