On February 5, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang - Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that during the Lunar New Year 2026, up to now, more than 98 billion VND has been spent on Tet care for union members and workers. Of which, the provincial budget is 15 billion VND, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Labor Federation are about 83 billion VND. In addition, grassroots trade unions also have Tet gifts and Tet bus tickets for union members and workers.
According to Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, the province currently has about 680,000 workers working in industrial parks, of which 42% are migrant workers. These gifts will add motivation for workers to feel secure in working in the province and stick with businesses for a long time, contributing to the socio-economic development of Dong Nai province.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation also said that the Provincial Labor Federation was supported by the VGCL with 850 Tet gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Among them, there are 300 gifts worth 2.3 million VND/case and 550 gifts worth 1.3 million VND/case; supported 450 train tickets and 130 air tickets for union members and workers in difficult circumstances to return to their hometowns for Tet.
The VGCL also supports nearly 15,000 online shopping vouchers at the 2026 Trade Union Tet Market program with a value of 500,000 VND/voucher.
For the locality, the Dong Nai provincial budget has supported 15,000 union members in difficult circumstances in the province, worth 1 million VND/case; Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation supported 65,000 union members and workers with each gift worth 1 million VND/case.
In addition, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation also organized the program "Trade Union Tet Bus - Spring 2026" to take nearly 3,000 union members and workers and their relatives home for Tet; Organized the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", meeting with workers' families in all industrial parks, clusters and commune and ward trade unions in the province with the participation of over 600,000 union members and workers; Giving 1,500 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet, worth 2.3 million VND/gift.
Grassroots trade unions at all levels also take care of Tet for union members and workers with support levels from 200,000 VND to 1 million VND/case. Depending on actual conditions, trade union levels also support train tickets, bus tickets, and air tickets for union members and workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet safely and conveniently.
