Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 is approaching, An Giang Trade Union has focused all resources to care for union members and workers (NLĐ). The total Tet care resources concentrated by the Provincial Labor Federation are about 12 billion VND (1 million VND per person, including cash and gifts), accounting for about 10% of the total number of union members in the whole province.
Priority subjects are union members, direct production workers, people in difficult circumstances, those who have had labor accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, reduced working hours, job losses and forces performing tasks during Tet.
The scale, level of support and scope of care this year are higher than in previous years, showing the proactiveness of the Trade Union in the context of a large area, dispersed businesses, thin staff and limited operating funds.

Recorded in recent days, hundreds of grassroots trade unions throughout the province have urgently reviewed union members in difficult circumstances, organized visits, presented gifts, coordinated with employers to take care of Tet bonuses, year-end meals, support bus tickets, Tet gifts... creating a network of care spreading from the province to the grassroots level.
Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh emphasized: "Trade Union operating conditions are still difficult, cadres are few, and the area is large, but we determine that taking care of Tet for union members and workers is the number one priority task. No matter what resources, the Trade Union must still be present where workers need it most.
Prominent in the series of activities is the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" to be held in Long Xuyen and Rach Gia wards. Activities such as Spring celebration arts, folk games, sports competitions, collective exchanges and direct gift giving to 600 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Working delegations of the Provincial Labor Federation also directly visit businesses to visit and wish Tet, grasp the production and business situation, salaries, Tet bonuses, working conditions and lives of workers, contributing to removing difficulties and consolidating harmonious labor relations.
In particular, from the attention of Party and State leaders and the financial support of the General Confederation, the Provincial Labor Federation has proactively selected targets, coordinated to organize and serve activities to visit and give Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the programs of central leadership delegations; and directly presented 450 gifts in cash and in kind, each gift worth from 1.3–2.3 million VND. This coordination activity not only shows the Central Government's concern for local workers but also contributes to improving the scale of Tet care of the An Giang Trade Union this year.
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation mobilized philanthropists to support the construction of 4 "Trade Union Shelter" houses for households in difficult circumstances in the Military-Civilian Tet program, each house worth 60 million VND.
This year's Tet care work is also associated with the task of stabilizing labor relations. The Provincial Labor Federation participated in a survey delegation led by the Department of Home Affairs in industrial parks, grasping the situation of labor, employment, occupational safety and health, salaries, and Tet bonuses; promptly handling arising issues, preventing collective labor disputes leading to work stoppages and strikes during Tet.

Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh affirmed: "Taking care of Tet is not only material support but also the political responsibility of the Trade Union organization. When workers are still in difficulty, the Trade Union must be closer to the grassroots level, closer to businesses, so that each union member and worker can feel the companionship and sharing during Tet days.
The series of activities to care for Binh Ngo Tet 2026 of An Giang Trade Union has contributed to creating a solid spiritual support, so that each union member and employee has a warm and meaningful Spring.
