Spending nearly 4.3 billion VND to take miners to nursing and health rehabilitation

Quang Ninh - TKV Trade Union spends nearly 4.3 billion VND for 2,500 miners to be taken for nursing and health recovery in May, June, July 2025.

According to the Trade Union of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV), implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on improving welfare and caring for union members and workers; in order to improve health and restore the health of workers to achieve productivity and ensure safety in production and business, the TKV Trade Union will organize for 2,500 miners to go to nursing and recover their health.

The subjects are workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, reduced working capacity of 31% or more and are classified as health type IV, V.

Accordingly, the miners on the list will be able to participate in a 2-day, 1-night tour, expected in May, June, July 2025. The standard program includes: Taking and dropping off workers at offices of units; Staying at a 2-star hotel, minimum of 200,000 VND/person; Eating 1 dinner, playing Karaoke, minimum of 450,000 VND/person; Breakfast at a hotel, minimum of 40,000 VND/person; Eat 1 lunch, minimum of 350,000 VND/person; get 1 hot mineral shower for 30 minutes and 1 physical massage, standard 60 minutes, 240,000 VND/person.

The expenditure for each miner is 1,712,000 VND/person (including VAT), from the financial resources of TKV Trade Union in 2025.

Thus, the total expenditure for 2,500 miners will be 4.28 billion VND.
