The activities of the occupational safety and hygiene network have been improved in efficiency. The total number of occupational safety and hygiene workers in the industry is 6,748. During the year, 447 occupational safety and hygiene workers were replaced or newly recruited. Units have organized training for 7,715 occupational safety and hygiene workers. During the year, the occupational safety and hygiene network had 61,794 recommendations on occupational safety and hygiene, of which 61,500 recommendations were resolved and 294 recommendations are being resolved.
In addition, during the 90-day and night emulation period in the fourth quarter of 2024, the Trade Unions of the units coordinated with specialized agencies to actively mobilize union members and workers to participate in production to increase output to complete the annual plan. In the fourth quarter, 200,223 workers were mobilized to participate in production on Sundays and holidays, thereby contributing an additional 662,581 tons of raw coal, 7,194 meters of tunnels and 5,935,795 m3 of excavated soil and rock; 396,800 tons of alumina; 7,960 tons of copper to contribute to the implementation of the general plan of the units and TKV.
The 2025 theme of TKV Trade Union is Improving miners' welfare, developing union members, and attracting workers. Competing to achieve achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
In 2025, TKV Trade Union will coordinate with professional agencies to launch emulation movements to strive to complete 100% of production and business targets in 2025.
Regarding the workers' movement and trade union activities, TKV Trade Union sets specific targets. In particular, strive to have 80% of trade union groups, 85% of departmental trade unions and 90% of grassroots trade unions achieve the title of "good performance" or better. Strive to have 850 excellent trade union members admitted to the Party. Admit 100% of newly recruited workers to the trade union organization. Trade union levels register to undertake 1,000 projects to celebrate major holidays, of which 20 or more projects are registered as TKV Trade Union level projects...
