On September 26, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference of grassroots trade union officials in the old Kon Tum province to evaluate the results of activities in the past time, listen to recommendations from the grassroots on trade union organization and activities.
The Provincial Federation of Labor currently manages 410 grassroots unions with nearly 85,400 union members, of which Kon Tum province (old) has 134 grassroots unions with nearly 7,500 union members.
In the third quarter of 2025, grassroots trade unions in the province handed over 3 "Union Shelters" with a support level of 50 million VND/house; spent over 13 billion VND to give gifts on the occasion of National Day 2.9; coordinated with enterprises to organize "Union Meals" for more than 4,200 workers and laborers; presented 25 gifts worth 1 million VND/gift to union members in difficult circumstances;
Legal advice for 7 workers; giving 30 gifts to children of union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the opening and maintenance of the "Sister" program to support raising orphans who are children of workers and laborers. Established 2 more FDI enterprise grassroots trade unions, admitted 164 new union members.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan, President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, suggested that grassroots union officials continue to innovate their methods of operation; focus on developing union members, promoting emulation movements; closely coordinate with businesses in caring for union members' lives so that the Trade Union organization is truly a reliable support for union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 20 gifts (1 million VND/gift) to union members in difficult circumstances in the area.
