It is necessary to have a trade union organization
In the context of the modern labor market, establishing and participating in Trade Unions is not only a need but also a legitimate right, helping workers supervise businesses to implement full wages, insurance and welfare regimes.
Mr. Le Minh Thai - a worker at Ben Tre Safety Grid Processing Facility - said that the Trade Union is a strong voice, a solid support to help workers confidently protect their rights.
When there is a Trade Union, employees are allowed to participate in collective dialogues and negotiate with businesses about working conditions, bonuses and effective shift meal quality.
"The trade union also helps monitor the Collective Labor Agreement and Labor Regulations, prevent violations, and create a fair, transparent and safe working environment for employees," Mr. Thai added.

From the practical needs of employees, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien advised on the establishment of a grassroots trade union, helping to stabilize labor relations, employees are trained and contribute to businesses.
The grassroots trade union also creates an official dialogue channel, helping employees express their thoughts and aspirations, while businesses clearly understand their needs, improve working conditions and benefits.
"When there is a Trade Union, labor relations are harmonious, employees are trained in law and skills, businesses are stable, effectively contributing to sustainable development," Ms. Tien added.
The Provincial Federation of Labor directly creates a bridge
Talking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - said that since the merger, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a decision to establish 20 grassroots unions at companies and enterprises in the whole province.
Newly admitted more than 28,000/30,000 additional union members (assuming from the beginning of the year until now of Ben Tre Labor Federation, Vinh Long Labor Federation, Tra Vinh Labor Federation before the merger).
Mr. Linh frankly acknowledged that this is a great effort when the development of the new grassroots trade union is currently facing many difficulties due to the lack of a grassroots trade union to manage.

This process requires perseverance, flexibility, proving the role and interests of the Trade Union with businesses and employees, and at the same time organizing a propaganda and mobilization team to the grassroots, directly dialogue to clarify legal regulations.
To solve the problem of managing and developing grassroots trade unions, Mr. Linh said that the Provincial Federation of Labor actively implements the necessary contents to establish qualified commune and ward grassroots trade unions.
The goal is that the grassroots trade unions of communes and wards play an extended role, managing, orienting activities and effectively implementing the development of grassroots trade unions and union members in the locality.
This is a strategic solution to decentralize, specialize management and development, ensuring the establishment of grassroots trade unions in new enterprises is implemented effectively, in line with the focus and close to practical needs.
