On October 28, the Trade Union of Hai Long Mekong Company Limited was officially launched and put into operation, marking an important turning point in the work of representing and caring for the rights of workers at the enterprise.
The grassroots trade union was established with 190 union members, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and attachment of the collective of employees as well as the concern and facilitation of the Company's Board of Directors. This is the result of the close direction of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) in expanding the trade union network, aiming to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor sent his congratulations to the collective of the Hai Long Mekong Company Limited Trade Union.
Mr. Linh also suggested that the Executive Committee soon improve the organization, develop working regulations, and practical action programs, close to the needs of union members.
At the same time, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, paying attention to the material and spiritual life of union members.
According to the decision of the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union was appointed to include 5 comrades, of which Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien (assistant Director of Finance) held the position of Chairwoman.
The Trade Union of Hai Long Mekong Company Limited is a grassroots trade union under the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, with legal status and operating according to the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
