The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City has just held its first conference for the 2024-2029 term to announce important decisions related to organization, personnel and operational orientation in the new period.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front announced the decision to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City for the 2024-2029 term with 126 members. At the same time, Mr. Le Tri Thanh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh, President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, was appointed to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, along with 7 other vice presidents in the new Standing Committee.
The conference also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the establishment of the City Fatherland Front Committee Agency, and personnel decisions to appoint heads and deputy heads of 9 professional departments and offices.
Speaking at the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang congratulated the Standing Committee of the City Fatherland Front Committee for the new term, and emphasized the important role of the Front in consolidating the great national unity bloc, strengthening supervision and social criticism, contributing to building a strong two-level government.
On this occasion, the City Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts of gratitude to 57 members of the old term, recognizing their enthusiastic contributions to the development of the Quang Nam - Da Nang Front in recent times.
