Workers die due to falling power poles

    Quang Tri - When moving the electric pole out of the truck's bed, the cable broke, the male worker standing below was hit by the electric pole, leading to his death.

    On the morning of May 26, information from Quang Tri Province Power Company said that the unit is coordinating with the family to arrange the funeral for Mr. D.T.L (born in 1970, residing in Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province).

    Mr. D.T.L is a worker at Vinh Linh District Power Company.

    At around 4:43 p.m. on May 25, Mr. D.T.L and his colleagues removed an electric pole from the truck's cargo to the land in Ho Xa town. While operating a crane to lift the electric pole out of the truck's body, the cable suddenly broke, causing the power pole to fall and press on Mr. D.T.L.

    The victim was taken to Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment in a state of multiple injuries, and died at 7:00 p.m. the same day.

    After the incident, the authorities arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.

    Quang Tri Provincial Power Company visited and encouraged Mr. D.T.L.'s family.
