On February 23, on the first working day after the Binh Ngo Spring Tet holiday 2026, the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a meeting, Tet greetings and assigned tasks to all officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the agency.
Attending the meeting were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Vice Presidents, leaders of departments and affiliated units, along with a large number of officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the agency.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang sent New Year greetings and wishes for good health to all officials and employees; and at the same time acknowledged and praised the efforts of the collective agency in the process of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, proactively adapting to new management methods, improving the quality of advice and efficiency of task implementation, meeting the increasing requirements of the Trade Union organization in the new situation.
Especially, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers of the agency made efforts to implement Tet care activities for union members and laborers, showing the spirit of responsibility and dedication to the tasks of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
2026 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 1st National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025-2030, and also the year of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress with very high requirements and goals.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang requested departments, affiliated units and each official, civil servant, public employee, and employee to urgently stabilize the organization and immediately start implementing the 2026 work program; improve the quality of advice, ensure the progress of implementing programs, projects, and operational plans smoothly and effectively from the early days of the year.
