At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee sent greetings and Tet wishes to households, workers, students in difficult circumstances; at the same time, he hoped that people would continue to strive to rise up and stabilize their lives.
At the program, 100 people in difficult circumstances received Tet gifts. People expressed their emotion and thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and local authorities for their concern and support.
According to records, Di An ward is the most populous locality in Ho Chi Minh City with more than 234,000 people. During the working program in Di An ward on the same day, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Vo Van Hong - official of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee (former Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Di An Ward People's Council) to participate in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Di An Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030; awarded the decision approving Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy to resign from the position of Deputy Secretary of Di An Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders also awarded decisions to Mr. Nguyen Phuong Thien - Commander of Di An Ward Military Command to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Di An Ward Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; awarded decisions approving Mr. Tran Dinh Thuong - Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee - Deputy Commander of Di An Ward Military Command to no longer participate in the Executive Committee of Di An Ward Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; awarded decisions approving Mr. Tran Van Dao - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Di An Ward People's Committee to no longer participate in the Standing Committee of Di An Ward Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
