Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee visits and gives gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Di An ward.

On February 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and a working delegation visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in Di An ward.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee sent greetings and Tet wishes to households, workers, students in difficult circumstances; at the same time, he hoped that people would continue to strive to rise up and stabilize their lives.

At the program, 100 people in difficult circumstances received Tet gifts. People expressed their emotion and thanked the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and local authorities for their concern and support.

According to records, Di An ward is the most populous locality in Ho Chi Minh City with more than 234,000 people. Among them, the workforce of workers and laborers working in Song Than Industrial Park, Tan Dong Hiep A Industrial Park and Linh Trung 1-2 Export Processing Zone accounts for a large number.

Handing over decisions on personnel in Di An ward

During the working program in Di An ward on the same day, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc awarded the decision to appoint Mr. Vo Van Hong - official of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee (former Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Di An Ward People's Council) to participate in the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Di An Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030; awarded the decision approving Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy to resign from the position of Deputy Secretary of Di An Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
