Mr. Tran Van An - a flower trader in the Au Co area - said that this year is the first time he has imported a large quantity of magnolias of many sizes, displayed all over the walkways, creating a space filled with pink and white colors to serve the Tet market.

He also shared that magnolia has a fairly high durability, the playing time can last about 20-25 days if cared for properly from when they are still buds. This is an advantage that makes many customers consider choosing instead of fast-burning flowers.
''Currently, I have sold a few hundred trees, purchasing power is quite good. Magnolia flowers are loved thanks to their beautiful shape, plump buds and elegant flower colors. When they reach blooming stage, the thick, straight petals open softly, embracing the yellow pistil, standing out on the sparse canopy, creating a characteristic attractiveness,'' Mr. An shared.
According to small traders, the number of customers in the days leading up to Tet is quite large. Many people come to refer to, take photos and deposit to keep the trees beautiful.
Although this year's Tet flower market is more competitive, we still expect to sell all the imported magnolias from now until Tet, and hope that this line of plants will be welcomed by customers for a long time in the coming years," Mr. An expressed.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa (Hanoi) said that during today's Tet flower selection trip, he was impressed with the color of magnolia flowers because of their luxurious, gentle appearance, suitable for placing in the living room space.
''I learned about this tree line before, but when I directly saw it at the store, I was surprised because the flowers were more beautiful than I imagined. Therefore, I decided to buy a magnolia tree and a peach tree to display during Tet,'' Mr. Khoa said.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Ha Linh (Hanoi) said that the price of magnolia flowers is reasonable compared to the general level of ornamental plants for Tet.
''After consulting many branches of different heights, I was informed that a magnolia branch costs about 3 million VND, the cost is just enough, so I plan to buy it to book a guest room during Tet'', Ms. Linh said.
