The program "Listening to union members and workers speak" is organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) in coordination with the Bai Chay Ward Trade Union, with the participation of 100 union members and workers from agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
The program is part of the series of activities "Month of listening to union members and workers speak" implemented by the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation at all levels of Trade Unions, aiming to create a forum for union members and workers to directly reflect their thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations related to employment, wages, income, working conditions, social security and legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
At the program, union members and workers in Bai Chay ward raised 14 opinions, focusing on policies on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; retirement age; occupational accident benefits; severance allowances, job loss allowances; rights of female workers after maternity leave.

Some opinions also mentioned policies for foreign workers, workers working in many enterprises; solutions to attract and retain workers in the face of human resource migration trends; needs for cultural and sports facilities, community living spaces; the role of the Trade Union organization in supporting workers when disputes occur, rights are violated, and in taking care of union members' lives.
Representatives of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of Bai Chay ward, the Social Insurance agency and specialized units directly exchanged and answered contents under their authority; and at the same time recorded recommendations to continue summarizing, considering and proposing to competent authorities for resolution.
