The tourism stimulus program has the theme "Quang Ninh City, reaching out with Heritage", lasting from August to the end of December 2026, divided into 2 phases associated with key time milestones.
In which, phase 1 from September-August 2026, the peak is associated with the event of announcing Quang Ninh to become a centrally-run city and celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2026).
Phase 2 (Quarter IV, December-October 2026), peak period associated with the anniversary of the province's founding day (October 30), year-end festival season, Christmas and New Year 2027.
According to the plan, in phase 1, the "Tourism Stimulus Week to welcome Quang Ninh City" will be implemented from August 24, 2026 - September 5, 2026, with special events as follows:

Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant units to coordinate in developing tourism programs and products associated with welcoming Quang Ninh City, including special incentives for this event; organizing promotional programs on accommodation, dining, and sightseeing services...; organizing to welcome famtrip and presstrip delegations to survey Quang Ninh tourism; connecting with the series of cultural and sports events of the province and departments, agencies, branches, and localities organizing...
Subjects of application:
Domestic customers include: MICE customers at the end of the year; family and group customers traveling on weekends and holidays; customers from provinces and cities in the Northern region (Hanoi and surrounding areas) traveling on linked routes; students experiencing heritage education...
International visitors, focusing on key and traditional markets according to Plan No. 23/KH-UBND (China, Korea, Taiwan (China), Russia, India, Philippines, Japan...); visitors entering through Mong Cai International Border Gate, Van Don International Airport and international cruise passengers through Ha Long International Passenger Port.
