At the conference, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation answered 39 related recommendations, focusing on 2 groups: Infrastructure investment, management organization, production and business operation; salaries, norms, payroll, internal regulations, policies, working conditions.
Regarding the proposal to increase salary income for road patrol and level crossing workers, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan proposed that Railway Joint Stock Companies have a plan to balance from other production and business salary sources of the unit to supplement and increase salaries and income for the above-mentioned group of workers.
At the same time, proactively refer to and learn from the experience of units with forms of paying high salaries for road patrol and level crossing guards in the same infrastructure management block.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Sy Manh - Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam Railways Corporation - said that the average income of road patrol and barrier guards is currently 10,595,000 VND. Currently, there are units below the average level such as Nghia Binh Railway Joint Stock Company, Phu Khanh, Thanh Hoa, Thuan Hai...
Mr. Dang Sy Manh suggested that these units must ensure income for workers, not lower than the average level.
