In the early morning of February 7, on the North-South railway line at km1581, passing through Tan Quang village, Tan Lap commune, Lam Dong province, a railway accident occurred, killing one person.
According to initial information, at the above time, train SE2 was traveling in the South - North direction. When arriving at the above area, train SE2 collided and ran over a railway patrol worker.
The victim was identified as Mr. N.V.P (born 1991, residing in Tan Lap commune). The strong collision caused Mr. P to die on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with professional units to be present at the scene for examination.
Functional forces have also requested an autopsy to serve the investigation and clarify the cause of the incident.
The accident did not affect train operations on the North-South railway line.
