On September 3, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation said that in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, trade union levels in the province have organized many activities to care for and support children of union members, workers and students in difficult circumstances.
In Dat Mui commune, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation presented 1,000 notebooks to the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to support students in particularly difficult circumstances before the new school year.
Previously, a working delegation of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation led by Ms. Ngo Diem Phuc - Standing Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to 9 union members and workers in difficult circumstances at the Trade Union of the Management Board of Mui Ca Mau Tourist Area.
In Cai Nuoc commune, grassroots trade unions of Saigon Pharmaceutical General Clinic - Cai Nuoc Company, Thien An Pharmaceutical - General Clinic Company, along with Ngoc Diep Construction Materials Enterprise and Ngan Ha Shoe Shop, awarded 1,500 notebooks and 30 scholarships to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 21 million VND.
An Xuyen Ward Trade Union also presented 1,000 notebooks sponsored by the grassroots Trade Union of Ca Mau Lottery Company Limited and 50 gifts in cash to students who are children of union members in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 16 million VND.
According to the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, the care activities are aimed at promptly supporting union members and workers' families to reduce the cost of purchasing books and school supplies for their children; and at the same time to add motivation for disadvantaged students to confidently enter the new school year.
