From lecture halls, hospitals to factories, many female union members of Ca Mau Trade Union have inspired with willpower, creativity and responsibility.

Examples of overcoming difficulties to contribute

After 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b and Directive 03 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the movement "Good at work, good at home" in Ca Mau not only recorded many outstanding achievements but also spread beautiful stories about the will, dedication and aspiration to contribute of female union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.

In each field, from education, healthcare to production, those women all affirm their bravery when they both excellently complete their professional tasks and nurture family happiness.

As Head of the Training, Fostering and Scientific Research Management Department, Ca Mau Provincial Political School, Ms. Trinh Thuy Lieu is considered one of the typical examples of the movement. In the period 2010-2025, she had 13 years of excellent task completion, owning 40 grassroots-level initiatives, 5 provincial-level initiatives and many scientific research projects. She was awarded the Third-class Labor Medal, the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit and many noble awards.

Looking back at the 15-year journey, Ms. Lieu said that the biggest challenge is balancing work, study and family. At times, she was both pregnant and studying, and after giving birth, she continued to pursue a doctoral program while still taking on teaching, research and management work.

According to her, the secret lies in the two words "plan" and "accompanying". The plan helps arrange work scientifically, and the companionship of her husband and children is the fulcrum for her to confidently dedicate.

In the coming time, she will continue to orient the innovation of teaching methods, promote digital transformation in training, scientific research and publish research works on gender equality, contributing to inspiring generations of students, especially female students.

Also carrying that spirit of dedication, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Tien, an employee of the Quality Management Department, a member of the grassroots Trade Union of Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, has excellently completed her tasks for 7 years, many initiatives have been effectively applied, and has been awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee and 4 Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation.

According to Ms. Tien, in the medical environment, pressure comes not only from duty shifts or emergency situations but also the responsibility to ensure safety for patients. Therefore, the title "Good at work, good at home" is not simply a recognition of achievements but also a motivation for each medical staff member to maintain a balance between work and family.

In the coming time, she aims to continue to improve the quality of hospitals, minimize medical incidents, replicate "Model Clinics", "Medical Ethics Smiles" models, and spread the spirit of love for the profession to young staff.

Spreading initiatives, accompanying female workers

In the field of production, Ms. Duong Thi Phuong Anh, Head of the Statistics Team, Member of the Standing Committee, Member of the Women's Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Nam Can Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, is a typical face with many innovative initiatives that have been effectively applied.

Starting from the fact that the seafood industry regularly increases shifts to meet order progress, she boldly proposed investing in more machinery, improving working processes and digitizing daily output report forms. These initiatives help reduce about 50% of reporting time, contributing to improving productivity and reducing pressure on workers.

Not only innovating in work, she also regularly grasps the thoughts and circumstances of workers with the Women's Committee to promptly propose support, helping women feel secure in working and stabilizing their lives.

According to Ms. Phuong Anh, in the context of digital transformation and integration, workers must constantly learn and improve their technology skills, and at the same time continue to seek cost-saving solutions to improve production efficiency. She also hopes to organize more practical activities to support female workers to improve their skills, take care of their health, access technology and build a stable family life.

The sharing summarizing 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b and Directive 03 vividly depicted the image of female union members of Ca Mau Trade Union who are full of willpower, responsibility and aspiration to contribute. Although working in different fields, they are all "silent flowers" contributing to building an increasingly developed women's movement, spreading the good values of Vietnamese women in the new era.
