On July 22, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Cai Nuoc Commune Trade Union and the Thai Thanh Hoa High School Trade Union to organize the handover ceremony of the "Trade Union Shelter" house to union member Nguyen Ngoc Ni, a teacher at Thai Thanh Hoa High School who is in difficult housing circumstances.
Union member Nguyen Ngoc Ni has 13 years of working in the education sector, and is currently suffering from many diseases requiring long-term treatment, and also has to take care of his elderly parents. The union member's old house is located in the school's collective housing area, which is being cleared to serve the construction of a national standard school, while economic conditions are still difficult.
Faced with that situation, the Management Board of the Ca Mau Trade Union Social Fund considered supporting 50 million VND to contribute to helping union members build a new house on an area of 70 m2 with a total budget of more than 210 million VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Van Dam - Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the "Trade Union Home" program is a deeply humane activity, showing the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers in difficult housing circumstances.
Congratulating union member Nguyen Ngoc Ni's family for having a new spacious house and stable life, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation wished union members to continue to overcome difficulties, feel secure in their work, actively teach, and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to building the unit and Trade Union organization to be increasingly strong.
Representatives of the grassroots Trade Union of Thai Thanh Hoa High School reported on the construction process of the house, and expressed their gratitude for the concern and support of the Provincial Labor Federation, Trade Union levels and localities for accompanying and helping union members have conditions to settle down and stabilize their lives.
In emotion when receiving the handover of the new house, union member Nguyen Ngoc Ni sent sincere thanks to the Provincial Labor Federation, Trade Union levels, the school Board of Directors, colleagues and units for their concern and support both materially and spiritually so that the family could have a spacious home. The union member affirmed that he will strive to overcome difficulties, continue to strive in work, complete professional tasks well, and actively participate in emulation movements and Trade Union activities.
The handover ceremony of the "Trade Union Shelter" house is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, continuing to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity, sharing, building the Trade Union organization to become increasingly close, a solid support for union members and workers.
