On the afternoon of April 21, the Trade Union of Kon Tum Provincial Party Agencies held the first Executive Committee Conference (expanded), term I, 2025-2028.
The Provincial Party Trade Union was established on February 26, 2025, with 18 affiliated grassroots trade unions and 672 union members.
After the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Inspection Committee on March 24, 2025, the Trade Union has developed a working program and proactively deployed tasks in accordance with assigned functions and powers.
Since then, the Trade Union has organized many practical activities to care for the lives of union members and workers.
Legal consultancy for union members is maintained regularly, especially in areas such as: social insurance, severance pay, early retirement, procedures for terminating labor contracts, etc.
In addition, grassroots trade unions have actively contributed ideas to develop draft legal documents, programs, and plans related to workers' rights, ensuring that they are consistent with the practical situation at the unit.
The Trade Unions of Kon Tum Provincial Party Agencies also deploy propaganda on the implementation of the 2024 Trade Union Law to grassroots trade unions; at the same time, guide the work of propagating, disseminating and educating the law in 2025.
Agencies and units have launched many practical emulation movements, in line with the characteristics of the tasks, to encourage union members to uphold their sense of responsibility and proactively complete assigned tasks well.
In addition, the Trade Union also promotes the mobilization of union members to register to implement works, products, initiatives, and solutions applied in professional work.
In the second quarter of 2025, the Trade Unions of the Provincial Party Agencies will focus on propaganda and organizing activities to celebrate major holidays, and at the same time implement activities in response to "Workers' Month" and " Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene".
Provincial trade unions also direct grassroots trade unions to organize meetings and exchanges with typical examples, with appropriate scale and form, contributing to spreading typical examples in the patriotic emulation movement.
