On April 21, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit is preparing to organize the 2025 Workers' Month launching ceremony with many practical activities, in order to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Trade Union will coordinate with Cho Ray Hospital and Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital to organize free breast cancer screening for 200 female union members and workers in difficult circumstances at Tra Da Industrial Park.
The program will also implement community health care and counseling activities for 200 female union members.
Also in Workers' Month 2025, the Trade Union organized 20 0 VND booths, introducing and selling typical OCOP products of Gia Lai province, typical rural industrial products and high-quality Vietnamese goods.
This is an activity that both contributes to promoting local products and supporting workers in accessing cheap, quality goods.
On this occasion, the Provincial Trade Union launched a movement to build a "Union Shelter" to support housing for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
In addition, 185 union members and workers with serious illnesses or work-related accidents will be supported with 1 million VND/person.
In addition, the Trade Union also implements consulting activities, answering policies on social insurance, health insurance and supporting the installation of VssID applications for workers in need right at Tra Da Industrial Park.
With this series of meaningful activities, the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union continues to affirm its role as a reliable support, accompanying and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers in the area.
