Recently, at RIO Cinema Lien Chieu Cinema, the Labor Federation of Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City organized a film screening for "Tunnel - Sun in the dark". The film screening attracted the participation of more than 200 union officials from grassroots unions in the district.
Mr. Truong Cong Hieu - Chairman of Lien Chieu District Labor Federation - said that the organization of trade union officials to watch the movie "Tunnel - Sun in the dark" is one of the practical activities of Lien Chieu District Labor Federation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. At the same time, this is an activity to take care of workers, respond to the working month, the month of action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 of the District Labor Federation. Through the film, it is expected that the union cadres will better understand the heroic history of the nation, thereby raising the sense of responsibility in building and defending the Fatherland.
Previously, at the Da Nang City Labor Culture House, the City Health Sector Trade Union organized the 8th Health Sector Workers Sports Festival in 2025. The sports festival attracted the participation of more than 500 athletes from 31 affiliated grassroots unions, competing in 4 sports: Table Tennis, badminton, badminton and team jumping.
In Hai Chau district, the district Labor Federation organized the 2025 Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers Billiards Tournament, attracting the participation of 124 amateur athletes from 52 affiliated grassroots unions, competing in 4 events.
These are events that create a playground for union members and employees to exercise, create a healthy playground for union members and employees to meet, exchange experiences, practice physically, increase joy and motivation to complete assigned tasks well, contributing to building a strong grassroots union.
Competition for ideas, initiatives, and technical solutions
Responding to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (KCNC Trade Union) has a very good and useful activity of organizing the Competition for Technical Solutions to innovate production processes; saving raw materials, fuel, time, labor; methods and initiatives to improve the working environment "Green - Clean - Beautiful" among workers.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Chairman of the Da Nang Industrial and Commercial Trade Union, said: The contest is organized to encourage union members and workers, especially workers in all types of enterprises, to strive to overcome difficulties, creative workers while promoting their pioneering role and sense of responsibility to confidently enter a new era - the era of national growth, contributing to the development of enterprises and the city.
Encourage the emulation movement for good labor, creative labor, technical improvement, improving labor productivity and product quality in enterprises. Introduce ideas, initiatives, and technical solutions to innovate production processes; save raw materials, fuel, time, and labor; methods and models of initiatives to improve the "Green - Clean - Beautiful" working environment; content and methods of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
The contestants are union members and workers working at enterprises, agencies and units under the KCNC Trade Union. The exam is conducted by individuals or groups (maximum 5 people/group). The contest will award 1 First Prize: 5,000,000 VND + Certificate; 2 Second Prizes: 3,000,000 + Certificate; 3 Third Prizes: 1,500,000 VND/prize + Certificate; 4 Encouragement Prizes: 1,000,000 VND/prize + Certificate.
In particular, good initiatives that have been effectively applied will be introduced, applied and guided by the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Investment Zones to become a dossier for the Certificate of Merit for Good Workers and Creative Workers of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung said.
