On April 16, the Buon Ma Thuot City Labor Federation (Dak Lak province) said that in the first quarter of 2025, the unit had mobilized the establishment of 5 grassroots unions, admitting 393 union members.
Up to now, the city has 199 grassroots unions with a total of 13,270 union members.
According to the City Labor Federation, from the beginning of the year, based on the assigned targets, the unit has conducted a field survey, guiding businesses to implement the process and procedures for admitting union members and establishing grassroots unions.
Along with that, the city has focused resources, promoted the development of union members and established grassroots unions, especially in non-state enterprises and in the informal labor sector.
In the coming time, the City Labor Federation will continue to proactively implement measures to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, while promoting propaganda to raise awareness of businesses and workers about the role and position of trade unions.
Thereby, contributing to the development of the union member force and expanding the grassroots union network, especially during Workers' Month in 2025.
