Practical celebration of major holidays, towards the Cam Duong Ward Trade Union Congress, the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Ward People's Committee to organize a Pickleball Tournament to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025), to celebrate the Trade Union Congresses at all levels and launch the 168-hour Campaign to support people affected by natural disasters in the province.
The tournament has 27 delegations with nearly 100 athletes from businesses in Cam Duong ward. Athletes compete in 3 events: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The matches were exciting and dramatic, with beautiful football moves, demonstrating an honest, united and enthusiastic sportsmanship.
The tournament contributes to promoting the physical education and sports movement, enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people, while strengthening solidarity between businesses in the ward; creating a useful playground where businesses and everyone can exchange, learn and connect, an opportunity to honor the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and tireless efforts of the business community in Cam Duong ward.
At the program, the Organizing Committee launched the "168 Hour Campaign to Support People Affected by the Storm", calling on businesses and communities to join hands to provide material and spiritual support to people in flooded areas and people in difficult circumstances in Lao Cai province.
The campaign takes place from 8:00 a.m. on October 4 to 11:00 a.m. on October 10, 2025, the results will be announced at the program to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13,) of Cam Duong ward.
Individuals and units can donate by bank transfer or cash to the Cam Duong Ward 168 Hour Fund Campaign Campaign Campaign Campaign Committee.
All donations and gifts will be made public, transparent and promptly delivered to people affected by natural disasters and people in difficult circumstances.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
Consecutive storms No. 8, 9.10 (Bualoi) and floods caused by the storm have killed, left missing, and injured 165 people; many houses and production and business establishments have had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern mountainous provinces and the central provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
