On October 15, the Can Tho City Labor Federation organized a delegation to visit and congratulate the Party's advisory agencies in the area on the occasion of the following celebrations: Traditional Day of the Party Building Organization Sector (October 14), Traditional Day of the Party's Mass Mobilization Sector (October 15) and Traditional Day of the Party's Inspection Sectorate (October 16).
At the places visited, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation gave a general report on the situation of trade union activities in the area after the merger and consolidation from Can Tho, Soc Trang and Hau Giang; and at the same time reported on the number of current employees.
Ms. Mai also outlined the direction of activities in the fourth quarter of 2025, focusing on welcoming the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, towards the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, striving to complete before December 31, 2025; issuing a Plan to care for Binh Ngo 2026 Tet for union members and workers.
At the meeting, representatives of the Party's advisory agencies expressed their respect and gratitude for the affection, attention and meaningful congratulations of the City Labor Federation on the occasion of the traditional day of the sectors.
The leaders of the units acknowledged the sense of responsibility and efforts of the union cadres in accompanying the political system to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
